We're awaiting our provider's investigation on this issue. 

I think it's possible for us to add a small hide our end if we don't hear back soon, but that may make it more difficult for them to see the issue easily and investigate - so I won't be changing anything for a little while longer

It's not something that is bothering me but I don't like inaccurate data.

Hi again

We've had an update on this. It is a known issue and will be fixed, but we don't have a timeline. 

For now, I have removed the count from the "Quick Links" box. 

I'll remove from other places next week if testing shows it can be done without causing other issues.
We can restore the counts when the issue is fixed by our provider.

In doing this you have removed not just the Bookmarked Threads count but all the counts including My Threads and My Drafts, although they still work as links - although My Threads takes an age to load when you have 48k threads

Hi @One-Eye

You should still be able to see Thread counts on your profile page.

If these counts are very inaccurate it makes sense to remove them from the most prominent view until they can show accurate figures.

For members who frequently posted to old boards, like MoneySavers' Arms, the count could be out by thousands. 
There are also some strange things that can currently be counted as a "Thread", such as reporting a post.
