Bookmark threads

I know they're lots of issues with the new forum and hopefully getting fixed.

I don't spend so much time on here because of the bugs since the new software came on line.

Over the past couple of weeks I have reduced my bookmarks down to 9 from about 30

The problem I have is it says 13, I have tried everything (i think) including logging out and back in.

Does anyone know where the other 4 are hiding ?

I have the same problem according to Quick Links I have 348 bookmarked threads, when in fact at this moment I actually have two and have never had more than half a dozen, been like that since the change to the new forum.

Just to check. Is "Quick Links" the only place you can see these numbers?

It may be counting deleted items. And remember, we have removed some of the social boards in recent years.
The forum also counts things you wouldn't expect. e.g. a report can be counted as a thread and/or a post.

I'm pretty sure I can remove these counters from the Quick Links area if they're more annoying than helpful.

Just bookmarked a new thread and count dropped to 35 then unbookmarked one and count back to 346, no sense in it just showing useless information.

No, it's not just on Quick Links. If I click on my Profile icon at top right, this shows the same incorrect number.

I think it is counting deleted items. I added two Bookmarks recently and my count increased from 35 to 37. One of these new ones is still there but the other thread has been deleted but the count has stayed at 37 even though the actual number is 3.

This is where my bookmarks show 13 and yet if I click them and count them on the next screen there are 9

My 'bookmarked threads' total keeps fluctuating.
It goes up and down willy-nilly with no relation to the number of threads I've bookmarked or un-bookmarked.
It seems a pretty pointless bit of information anyway.

Further to this, my 'bookmarked threads' total has increased overnight by 617.

I'm not sure how many new threads I have bookmarked but there is no way it is that many.

Apart from the one post by MSE_Stephen on the 4th August no staff appear to be interested in sorting this out, I still apparently have 348 bookmarked threads according to MSE when in fact at the moment I only have two, when if ever are they going to correct this there is no point having something that is giving incorrect data all the time.
