An NSD for me

I 'm here! I'm here!!
Going to try very hard to get back into visiting MSE to record my challenge results.
This month started looking like it was going to be another silly month where it seems I never get an NSD because of 1 "silly spend". I have applied to renew my (lapsed) Australian passport. Oh my goodness, my gracious me! Twice I have had passport photos taken at places that advertise they meet Australian passport standards, but they have been rejected both times. Each time for different reasons, each time for more than one reasonSo at least twice this month I have lost an NSD just to pay £7 to send photos to Australia House
Lost another day when the fee came out of my account (£243.53)
So tomorrow I am trying a third place, after phoning them today and asking:
_are the photos produced using dye sublimination on high quality, heavy- weight glossy prints, 200gsm minimum?
- will you ensure my face is the right size in the frame?
_will you ensure my photo does not have a dotted appearance, repeated patterns across the image, lines or patches across the image, lack of fine detail as a result of being produced on an inkjet printer? (none of my photos had these faults in, but this was the complaint in my second rejection. Whatever passport staff saw, they didn't like itLikewise, another complaint was that photo was not to have been altered: wrinkles, moles etc removed (they hadn't
)
Wish me luck!
But I digress , just a tad
My 3 NSDs this month so far were:
Sunday 6th
Tuesday 8th (petrol allowed spend)
Wednesday 9th

@Saver-upper, ugh ….. that sounds like hard work and that fee is huge! Is the Aus prime minister doing the admin on your passport?!Well done on persisting, hope it goes through this time.KKAs at 15.07.25:
