Don't think these have been on here, you'd think it would be simple to understand this gargantuan amount of gumph on the T&Cs sign, even though it was fairly low, I'm pretty sure it'd take a while to read it all!

What may be implied but not actually stated is that you have to pay by the 29th April (doesn't state the year), but also upon entering the car park...really confusing...I do 'get' the approach of being able to pay for a day (but that expires by the 04.29 - i.e. April), but it's a little cheeky.

Extra charges are in the T&Cs (squirrelled away from the deterrent £100), states "any subsequent enforcement action may incur additional costs (interesting choice of word - have to be proven to actually cost that right?) that will added to the value of the parking charge for which you may be liable.

I see that disabled badge holders can only park in the disabled bays if they wish to park for free, and have to go to the extra rigmarole of registering their car on a blue badge portal.

Just for a laugh, here's a contractual sign I saw in the lovely village of Ditchling, East Sussex:

    The gate was wedged open!

Out in the lovely Sudbury the other day, absolutely infested with NPC which seemed to have signs up in every nook and cranny of the market town, I don't like NPC, have I mentioned that...

Anyway, hotel (lovely) but sadly have been conned into including parking 'enforcement' from Civil Enforcement.

"Additional costs/recovery charges will be incurred if payment is not received within 28 days" - sounds like bullying to get people to pay up quick!

A Lidl branch in Nottingham. Bank park state that "additional costs will be added, including.."
But don't state what those costs are.

((As an aside, all signs had a plain yellow over-sticker. Couldn't tell what withdrawn restriction it was obscuring - a "no return within <period>" clause, perhaps..?))

The physical size of £100 parking charge is tiny, and would definitely not pass The Supreme Court Beavis test!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Clifton Retail Park, Clifton, Nottingham: KFC and McDonalds are adjacent at this location. Turn left and the KFC-side PPC is Civil Enforcement; Turn right and the McDonalds-side PPC is Pure Parking....Neither state DRA fees..

Civil Enforcement state "Additional costs/recovery charges will be incurred.." but don't state them..:

Pure Parking state "Non-payment will result in additional charges..." but don't state those charges...:

    (As an aside (not DRA-related):
    1) Civil Enforcement state "for KFC customers only"; yet Pure Parking (McDonalds) merely state "Clifton Retail Park customers only"- which surely includes KFC?!
    2) Pure Parking have a no-return-within-60-minutes clause, but KFC/CE do not..
    3) KFC host Instavolt electric charging bays within their area, adjacent to one of CE's signs. Yet Instavolt list 24-hour availability - and McDonalds - as features of this site - seemingly contradicting CE's signage..)

Halfords, Purley way, Croydon. Trap site that has featured on this forum in the past. UKPS have the spaces adjacent to the fence; TPS have the spaces to the left and front of the store itself:

TPS have forgotten to over-sticker at least one of their signs from £70/£40 to £100/£60, but it's immaterial as neither version states the DRA charge. "Non payment will result in additional charges..." But they're not stated...:

I already posted on another thread:

Here's a picture of the woeful Gatwick signs, taken by a relative as we dropped off a friend this weekend (... hello NCP...).

     B)

No we didn't forget to pay once back home but we had to keep reminding each other and it was only because I knew all about it that it remained in my mind and we made a point of paying within half an hour of getting home.

I can totally see why people forget!

    Nondescript signs. Unreadable t&cs.

    Nothing about added DRA fees.

Why is it justifiable to be a massive £100 reduced to £60? Extortionate for a minor human error.

Why is it the same as stopping on double reds or causing an obstruction? It is absurd enrichment. It USED to be £15 as the early discount.
