    I was a long time Barclaycard customer (and used the Barclaycard app) until I opened a Barclays account last year.
    I can see my current account, Rainy Day saver and Barclaycard accounts all on the same (Barclays) app - but I do not get any notifications for Barclaycard payment approvals.

    Does anyone else have this problem? e.g. if you buy something online and it gives you three options to approve the payment, I can't use the app approval method (I never get a notification, and there is nothing to approve within the app), I can't use the mobile sentry method (the code generated is always rejected) - I can only use the text message method, which I don't feel is secure...
    I have contacted Barclays CS and they have been 'looking at it' for a couple of months, but I don't think they actually understand the issue.
    I approved a payment in the app earlier today, for the first time, I should mention. When I logged into the app, there was a 'new notification' indicator on the bell top right of the screen, when I opened notifications it was in there. Not very intuitive.
    I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

    Further to this, I'm a "Barclaycard only" customer and the merchant checkout refers to the "Barclays app". Being a pedant, I don't have the Barclays app, but I do have the Barclaycard app; I've obviously realised they mean the Barclaycard app and the approval is behind the notification bell as mentioned. I'd try opening the Barlcaycard app if you still have it and looking there.

    I tried that (I still have both apps installed), but neither shows the payment approval notification even if open the 'bell' and manually refresh it.
