I've got a Barclays current account and have always accessed that via the online web.
I've just got a Barclaycard.  Will I eventually (once the Barclaycard activation is registered) be able to see and mange the Barclaycard together with my current account etc.?  Or do you need to log onto each separately?
As a second question, can you control both from the Barclays app or do you need the Barclaycard app also installed?

Yes it's one login.  No idea about the app as I don't use it.

Yes, you can see the Barclaycard through your existing app. The app doesn't seem to have all the features for the Barclaycard that you have online. For example, you can't see your statement in the app until at least a day after it's available online. Though this might depend on the kind of card you have. Mine is a very old one, at least 15 years old.

Yes, you can see and manage your Barclaycard via the Barclays banking app.

My logins for Barclays and Barclaycard are different.
On my PC I can see my two Barclaycards with their balances in my Barclays online account, but to see anything else I have to go through extra PINsentry authentication.
On the same PC I cannot see my current accounts in my Bacrlaycard online account.
On my phone I can see everything in both apps.

Thanks all, and grumbler that's a clear explanation, cheers.
I've set up Barclaycard this morning and it's all working fine logging in directly online.  Not showing on my Barclays online yet, though assume/hope that will happen overnight.  I'm pondering the Barclays app ...

n.b. As a late adopter of app banking, it seems though online banking is still relatively straightforward, seemingly every time you open a new acc/apply for some new card etc, the most functional/efficient option is to go with app banking.  I've got a fair number of different bank/BS accounts so I might have to start thinking of taking the plunge.

"Show all accounts " line at the bottom is very easy to miss.

grumbler, I'm looking on my laptop and (with the new refurbed site) my current and savings account shows as normal. No 'show all accounts' button.  But there is a new settings button (customise my accounts or similar), on clicking this the two accounts show and there is a section below of 'hidden accounts' = 0.  So I think that's it.  Maybe tomorrow ...

I have had both Barclays account and Barclaycard accounts from before they launched online banking and mobile apps. I initially had two different log in and two different apps, but at some point they suggested that I continued to only used one Mobile app, and from then on, I continued with the full Barclays app, as I can do everything I need from there for all my banking with Barclays group.

I have a Barclays mortgage and Barclaycard (no current account). I can manage the mortgage through Barclays online banking, but I have to log in separately to manage my Barclaycard. I can only see the Barclaycard balance in Barclays online banking, but can't do anything else.

Yes, within Online Banking it will show you the balance and some options, but when you click on these options, it will redirect you to Barclaycard website, which however should auto-login.

within the Barclays Mobile app however, you can access all available functionality in one place
