The Barclaycard did not appear on my laptop web login for Barclays,I gave Barclays a call and apparently to view Barclays and Barclaycard it is not possible to do that one via the other, two separate logins are require one to Barclays and one to Barclaycard. The only way to see both is to have the Barclays app.0

I suspect you may have an issue with different profiles needing merging, this has been reported on a travel forum few times since the launch of the Barclaycard Avios and Premier Avios rewards0 -
In my experience with Barclays/Barclaycard, you get two different experiences on Mobile and via the website.
On mobile, it's one app for both. From a PC/web browser, you can login to Barclays, but the integration of Barclaycard is, frankly, crap, and you effectively have to login to your Barclaycard account, so you might as well go direct to the Barclaycard website.
For me the mobile app is used for most "check your balance and transactions" stuff.
From the PC for OFX and statement downloads, it's generally Barclays via the Barclays website and Barclaycard from the Barclaycard website.
The Barclaycard website isn't the most beautiful, but I can get to the information I want within a couple of clicks without forgetting what I came into the room to do.

I think I'll just access them individually, it hardly seems worth the hassle, though it would have been nice and I think not unreasonable to expect to see them together as they are both Barclays brands. I may just go the app route as it seems a bit inevitable as everything seems to be more designed with apps as a priority. As an aside, I agree, when I first logged into the Barclaycard site I was a bit taken aback at how sparse and amateurish it looked, so had to double check I'd got the legitimate site. Still, it looks simple and functional which is the main thing.0

In the past my CCs weren't visible here, then appeared naturally at some point. However, as I said above, if I want to see more about my CCs, I have to go through extra PINsentry authentication.

grumbler - yes I did ask this when I called them as you'd mentioned it but they dodged the question several times. Perhaps my Barclaycard details will suddenly appear one day ...

As someone has mentioned previously, potentially the reason why it’s not showing in your online banking is possibly to do with your Barclaycard being on a separate Barclays customer profile.During my time at Barclays I often dealt with merging customer profiles due to Barclaycards not showing in online/mobile banking. When you apply for a Barclaycard, it tries to find an existing record on the Barclays system for the barclaycard to go onto which then makes it visible on existing Barclays online/mobile banking, if it doesn’t it goes on to a different record. The personal details have to exactly match for it to go on an existing Barclays record. Quite a common issue I found was that customers didn’t give their middle names on their barclaycard application, but because their middle name was on their existing Barclays record, as the customers full name didn’t match the barclaycard ended up being put on a new Barclays customer record, therefore causing the issue you are facing.2

mab3000 and other posters thanks for the insight on this and armed with your info I got in touch with them again and yes it appears I had two separate profiles. They have agreed to combine and apparently it will take upto 5 days to take effect. Fingers crossed and thanks. I'm almost not sure why I pursued this, not like me if things are somehow working, but I think I got a bit obsessed lol.

Well, after contacting Barclays and been given assurances that the problem would now be resolved, it is not fixed. Not the end of the world but too much time wasted, I give up.

Sorry for jumping into this thread - I have an issue with Barclaycard/Barclays which I want to check if others have too...
I was a long time Barclaycard customer (and used the Barclaycard app) until I opened a Barclays account last year.
I can see my current account, Rainy Day saver and Barclaycard accounts all on the same (Barclays) app - but I do not get any notifications for Barclaycard payment approvals.
Does anyone else have this problem? e.g. if you buy something online and it gives you three options to approve the payment, I can't use the app approval method (I never get a notification, and there is nothing to approve within the app), I can't use the mobile sentry method (the code generated is always rejected) - I can only use the text message method, which I don't feel is secure...
I have contacted Barclays CS and they have been 'looking at it' for a couple of months, but I don't think they actually understand the issue.0
