Proof of posting retained in your file?
Yep! First class post with proof of postage. Put in file and scanned it just incase.

The post office assistant tried to upsell to signed for delivery, but I'm sure I read on this post or on other threads not to do this as they could reject it and it go back to PO and therefore its not been delivered.

Received this in the post today.

Neither of us struck out, and no info as to whether the patrol officer will be summoned to give evidence also.

    29th February it is 😬🤞🏻

What does the reverse say about when you should submit your Witness Statement?  That's you next focus.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well, 'The following Directions apply to this Claim:' - paras 3) to 12) - tell you what you need to do. Let the forum see your draft Witness Statement once prepared. Do not miss the WS deadline.

Or the date for paying the trial fee.

🤦‍♂️ - overlooked that this is a counterclaim. @Anto_28, yes, heed @Castle's advice, the payment of the Trial Fee must be made by the due date, and will be ahead of having to submit your WS.

Reply to Defence, Defence to Counter Claim, Directions Questionnaire and N215 form all filed with the court!

Copies of all posted to VCS also (bar the N215)

Let's see what happens next :)

This is progressing very quickly indeed.

Just reminding everyone that the OP is the Claimant.

VCS have had a strop and (IMHO badly) defended the case, and counterclaimed.

So the OP will need to pay that hearing fee in good time

And do a WS bundle with evidence as the Claimant, plus in support of the defence to the Counterclaim.

And this is definitely one for a 'costs schedule' page as well.
