Hi all was just going over the ruins of my budget keeping this summer, but have now entered all spends and it's high, but some of it will need to be moved to my grants/business spending. I need to set up a proper structure for that before I get hit by the tax man. That said I am grateful for an amazing summer, people I have met and am working hard to bring it forwards.
I have started my reports and presentations, September will be a busy month but I already have bits lined up and I am looking forwards to joining in September.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Completely lost track of the number of NSDs. I've been buying a few bits and bobs online that we need for the holiday. Everything is looking organised. Even the fridge and freezer are looking reasonable.
I managed after many months to track down and get in touch with an elderly relative. I'm very fond of him and I'm the only member of the family that he ever kept in contact with but he lives a fair distance away and had changed his phone number and email address. So relieved to find that he's ok.
So looking forward to my holiday. Packing tomorrow. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
All set for two kids to go back to school. Last time I only had 2 kids in school was 2012, so I must be on the homeward straight, right?
Will do frantic tidying and hoovering tomorrow before the visitors arrive. Will mop floors too. No point doing it tonight as the floor will be covered in crumbs again by morning.
Made a good few ££s on p/a over the long weekend so might squeek through on pennies without borrowing from savings after all. This month DH gets paid on a week day so housekeeping should clear before bills go out.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Sorry for the lack of inspiration and quotes - I'm still really tired. I went shopping this afternoon for a few bits that were needed, some medical, one sort of medical (really dry skin which I need to take care of). Also had a wander around Will Co - bought several wooden spoons (they do proper sized ones not the ones that only have room for 6 peas). It's DS1 and darling d-i-l's 5th wedding anniversary next week which is wood (I'm afraid she won't be presented with a newly cut piece of wood in the morning to be turned into a gift within 2 quarter days). I'm being unoriginal, will write something spoon related and put cash or vouchers in their card towards a meal or two - I only saw one card today and it was dull and boring
Took 3 library books back and found 2 new ones. Many bags of rubbish and recycling left the house,
Grateful for starting to head back home when I did as my leg started to hurt and I limped home, finding most of the things I needed, it not raining whilst I was out (I brought some of the washing in yesterday evening), getting sole occupancy of the couch when I got in (they were upstairs and then went off to an appointment).6 -
Can't believe it's been 5 years already, grandmanerd!!Today I am grateful for dh coming home last night instead of late this morning, for getting a shop + blackberry pick + raspberry pick + fruit stewing all done before anyone else needed waking, for finding old World's Strongest Woman on utube dating back to 2001 - my new fave thing to watch, for getting on with my knitting, for a planned Grand Day Out tomorrow with dc.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9

Happy holidays @Toni'sfriend. Have fun with your visitors @f0xh0les.
NSD#10, hooray double figures.
Slept a little better lady night. Did yoga before breakfast. Loaded the car with things to drop off up the road, to a lady that works in a CS.
Not the best day at work. Will blame the impending full moon...
Visited a friend after school with a pampering goodie bag. She's got a cancellation appointment for her op, so leaves in the morning. Pleased I saw her before she went.
Did the ironing after tea & watched the last 2 episodes of a series. Didn't guess the outcome, though DH guessed one of the culprits! Had a nice soak in the bath.
Grateful for yoga, seeing my friend, a teacher & head teacher having my back & willing to help me when neededUse it up, wear it out

Went to Wigan on a bus and got my bank account unblocked and I have a 'new' pinsentry machine (the nice bank lady gave me hers because I'd said I rely on it for food orders - it could have taken 2 weeks for them to send me one). Checked out the arcade where b0dy sh0p was supposed to be, but it's not so no satsuma mist yet. Ate (I took drinks, cheese triangles, strawberries and yoghurt with me) then went back to the bus station. Had a long bus ride through lots of countryside (fields of sheep and horses) with Rivington Pike in view most of the time. Picked up the latest edition of the large print puzzle book as the station newsagents.
Arrived in Bolton but was too tired to do more so waited for the next bus home. Ate again then gathered my stuff and came upstairs. I was going to have an ice cream but am just finishing off my strawberries instead.
Grateful for helpful bank people, strawberries, puzzle books in convenient places.11 -
Today I am grateful for a lovely visit to the Tate Modern, for easy travelling, for dh prepping tea, for finding which channel is showing highlights of la Vuelta, for 85% chic.

Didn't do yoga this morning, instead I loaded the car up with stuff to take to the dump after work.
Work went well, two teachers are vying for me to be in their class more often. Wasn't sure if my timetable was going to change today or not, but it stayed the same until it's been discussed with the staff involved. I said I'd go wherever! One of the auxiliaries bought me a present of some local sweets I'd been hunting for, as she could tell I'd had a carp day yesterday! A lovely surprise 😃
Had lots of laughs with my morning pupil, they thought I'd be going back to them after my dinner, & started to follow me to my next class. Got a bit upset when it was explained I was to be elsewhere. Felt nice that they've formed an attachment to me. Things went better with the afternoon one, think they're realising I won't take any sh*t! 🤣Still early days.
Took stuff to the dump. Put washing on the line, then DH brought it in as starting to rain, so I put it on the airer. My brother phoned. After tea I did 2 sewing jobs. Just finished now. So much for my planned early night!
Grateful for surprise sweets, bonding with pupils, lots of compliments passed on about how I'd handled situations yesterdayUse it up, wear it out
