Happy Friday indeed.   

Meant to say I was really pleased yesterday to finally get my new shower fitted. 

A working shower that regulates the temperature properly.

@Toni'sfriend That's a lovely story about your neighbour. 

Finally finished painting the conservatory last night. Might have to touch up a few places as I got a bit snow blind after staring at white for ages but that can wait. Big clean tonight and then moving time.

Thrifty Taylor - I am so pleased to hear your friends news. At this stage any good news is a comfort and a real boost. I have my fingers and everything else crossed for her. xx

I had a nice surprise last night. The Boy turned up unexpectedly. He had to come across to his flat to collect some legal paperwork relating to his late aunt's will which needs to sign. I have to say the will seems extremely complicated. A share in her half of the marital home left to multiple nieces and nephews both in the UK and beyond and her husband (a particularly nasty individual) is living there at the moment having left her to fend for herself whilst she was ill. Dare say the lawyers will untangle it eventually.

Not an NSD as I eventually managed to get to the hairdresser and my hair is now looking almost normal. The treatment I've undergone has really dried up my skin, nails and hair. The hairdresser was lovely. Done loads of things to try and get it looking good. Big boost to my confidence. If only I could lose a bit of weight but I have to accept that the medication is making that difficult but so long as I eat healthily it should prevent me from too much on. And I've got a lot of nice clothes to wear so shouldn't really complain.

So, all in all it's been a good and positive day. Can't ask for more than that, can you? xxxx

Fell asleep on the sofa last night watching YouTube videos, so much for the film I had planned! 

Woke up early today so took myself off to the gym before work.  Didn't have loads to do work-wise so took advantage of the downtime and did a big load of batch cooking. 

Small spend on a prescription but as per our rules I'm keeping my NSD!

Am on call tomorrow and based on information I've been given I'm 99.9% sure I'll have to go in, so I'm going to try and get a headstart and do some small jobs this evening, like cleaning the aquarium, hoovering and some washing. I did get a bottle of wine with the shopping as a treat so I'll have a glass with dinner shortly, and then I will watch the film I never got round to yesterday!
