    Thank you, there's not been any loss to me yet, the only thing I'd have potentially been able to claim was loss of earnings on the actual court date. I'll email the court exactly what you've said in your last paragraph

    Just updating this thread for anyone else fighting Civil Enforcement. Stick at it! After submitting my witness statement to them they failed to submit theirs by the court deadline. They then contacted me twice offering 'settlement figures' to avoid court (£180 initially then £100). I rejected their offers and then at the very last minute they decided not to pay the court fee and the case has been vacated.
