Parking company and bailiffs claiming for CCJ that came to court but no judgement made

I have received letters from bailiffs for a parking charge from about 6 years ago that they say a CCJ was made about. I checked the case number with the court and they said an order was issued for the claimant to provide evidence but they never did so no judgement was made - but the case has not been closed. Should I tell the bailiffs or the parking company that no judgement was actually made?

Which exact company has contacted you? Which parking company allegedly "won" the (closed) claim?Jenni x0

I'm not sure if it's a good idea for me to put their names on here in case they monitor these forums, but they are both established companies.

Some have a record for issuing spurious demands. If you won't tell us there is little we can contribute further ..... only to say there are no men in black suits lurking in the shadows. Even if they were, how would hiding the details make any difference?judytzuke said:I'm not sure if it's a good idea for me to put their names on here in case they monitor these forums, but they are both established companies. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Ok, good questions and fair points! It is Civil Enforcement telling me a CCJ was obtained against me four years ago, and saying they intend to apply for an order for me to attend before a Court Officer for questioning re finances, and that they may then enforce the Judgement with orders or 'court bailiffs'. I checked my credit report and it was fine so I ignored it. Now I've got a letter from DCBL Bailiffs threatening to enforce it if I don't pay them. I checked with the court and the claim number was genuine, but there was no judgement made because CE didn't respond to an order for them to provide evidence that they are or were not an insolvent company and details of where it is alleged the incidence took place.
So there is no CCJ, but the case has not been closed. Should I contact the bailiffs or go straight to CE and ask them to drop it?1 -
What was the date of the alleged parking incident?1

DCBL bailiffs contacted me. The parking company was CE - they said there was a CCJ against me, but in fact there was no judgement made, though it's not closed.Jenni_D said:Which exact company has contacted you? Which parking company allegedly "won" the (closed) claim?0 -
Again, what was the date of the alleged parking event?
When you say DCBL bailiffs, do you mean DCB Limited, or DCB Legal Ltd?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
