  • Well my mum got hers, said they were red carnations with loads of gold foliage but my grandmother still hasn't received hers either. Think I"ll stick to either Bunches or Flying Flowers in future though having said that apparently Iflorist are good as well so I"m told.

  • I ordered 2 lots at £10 both were delivered for christmas. Both were red carnations, one came with a cuddly reindeer and the other with a cuddly snowman.

The only lucky dip element, it seems to me, is if you got a cuddly toy or not, apart from that the majority seemed to get red carnations.

I think the original post was very misleading as although what I did receive (or my mum and my mum in law to be precise) was probably worth £10 delivered, I was under the impression that it would be a £35 bouquet and so it was no bargain and I would never in a million years have bought them red carnations and cuddly toys.

In future I will stick to knowing what I will receive where flowers are concerned and not be so naive, to me it just made sense that they would want to clear all their flowers out before christmas that they may have over-ordered and so it made a nice little extra treat for the mums, but in reality they just had a shed load of red carnations they wanted to unload.

Don't get excited about the flowers even if they do eventually arrive. I had three deliveries from them. The first and second were half dead, and the third where a bunch and i say a bunch, but what they were was 10 carnations, which i could have bought at Aldi for £1.69.

A huge dissapointment, what was supposed to be a nice suprise for my mum turned into a fiasco.

Good Luck, i would just accept a refund if possible

  • VALUEFLORA IS A CHEAT!!!!

My flowers have not arrived and it has been a month. I emailed them about it and they say they will send a refund, but I have not received any yet. It makes me angry because it was supposed to be such a special surprise for my boyfriend who was returning to his home country.

I am annoyed and I have heard many complaints from others too. In fact, no one I know who ordered from Valueflora has ever received their flowers!

As a first time customer with Valueflora.com, I ordered 50 red roses and chocolates (entitled The Whopper) costing 50GBP (discounted from 99.99GBP) for my girlfriend and they did not arrive on Saturday. Instead, a cheaper order of 40 pink roses 29.98GBP arrived along with a message addressed to someone else's mother(!) I can't believe they could get this so wrong and can only assume that someone else has got my girlfriend's flowers and my personal message not addressed for them(!)

I have emailed Valueflora and am intent on getting my money back and have even taken a photo of the wrong flowers and card message to be used for my next email if necessary. I have given them 14 days to reply.

As they have no contact telephone number, and given the fact that some others have not got their money back yet, can we only assume that we have to take them to court to get our money back if they don't refund us? I'd be grateful for any feedback. Many thanks in advance.

Further to my previous message, I have just received a reply from Valueflora to my email and have been kindly informed that a formal refund will be credited back to my credit card account within the next few days. Despite the problem I encountered, I am really happy with the way in which the Customer Care person dealt with my query so quickly and professionally so I certainly won't need to take matters further.
