I know right.. it’s my silver lining that they probably paid a lot for this guy to come in, much more than my costs.patient_dream said:
Sorry you lost and all they won was a case. £185 plus 4% interest. ?Saverule said:Lost
Thankfully just parking ticket and costs.Apparently having the term about BB is discriminatory, but enforcement makes it reasonable and necessary to have.
NOT MUCH TO SPLIT BETWEEN 3 PARTIES IS IT.
Makes no sense to employ a very expensive cavier eating barrister for a peanut returnHe’s also very aware of MSE forum. The judge had a dig at him about their WS template as they left things in there that weren’t for me. He then asked me if my witness statement came from a template or online.2 -
Wont have any issue paying it, so it’s not a problem. Thank you for your kindnessUmkomaas said:
We've seen other cases where a Judge has directed payment to be made within a different timescale to the usual '1 month'. Given it has to be paid, do it by the directed date, otherwise a CCJ is slamming its way into you, and I'm sure I don't need to tell you, that's 6 years of unmitigated financial catastrophe.Saverule said:@Coupon-mad The judge said something at the end about not giving legal advice. But if I paid within 14 days or 21 days I could get the CCJ removed and gave a date of 1st of September, I thought it was 1 month after payment?
Sorry to hear you weren't successful in defending the case.

So what if people get help, The WS is a template which they must adapt to suit their own case. It's simply a pathetic excuse to fool the judge
Legals should read this forum to discover where they are going wrong
When I want to learn something, I search the net and so will a judge3 -
Weird one or maybe not.
just received the general form of Judgement or Order and it’s wrong? It says “UPON hearing the solicitors agent for the claimant and the defendant not attending.” It is ordered that the defendant pay XYZ…
I did attend. So I’m not sure what that’s about.0 -
Error by the court. But at least it confirms the £PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
