I paid £60. Which is less than what the original charge would have been if they'd sent it.
    We are sad .....

I can honestly say I don't see that I could have built a defence for the fact I overstayed the 2 hours - zero evidence.

I have today received another letter from the dcbl saying I still owe money - I'm assuming I ignore this since I have actually already paid the fee to "their client"

They probably think that they won't have to push too hard to get you to pay again.
    Prove them wrong.

Oh dear. You can't do that...unless CP Plus agreed to accept £60 and told you to pay them (not DCB).  And as long as you did so in time.

You should not have paid.  These cases are all easy to defend. Regardless of facts.

Your case would have been discontinued, or struck out by a Judge.  No hearing. Nothing.  You would have paid zero.

And now you will still be pursued unless you respond to DCB Ltd and prove the agreement you had with CP Plus to pay £60..
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm already burning the candle at both ends and have zero time to research a defence case.

I have an email from CP Plus with the halt to proceedings, the cost of £60 and the receipt.
  • By paying the scammers, you are marked as a "mug" and they now have you on their radar as easy pickings. You only had to follow the advice as provided. By ignoring the advice, why do you think that more advice on the situation as it now stands is going to help you?
