Overstayed alloted parking time end of May - 25mins, I wasn't parked for the whole 2hrs 25mins as the cameras catch you driving up a slip lane and out another slip lane. Unfortunately I have no receipts to prove I wasn't parked for the entire time.
I had a letter on the 30th of June saying they'd sent a charge on the 5th of June (which I didn't receive). They were charging extra due to not having paid immediately. I appealed through the website on the 30th of June. Have had no correspondence since but today received a letter saying they had upped the charge again... do I re-appeal?

    It is not a fine.

Plan A s always a complaint to the landowner and your MP.

If you received a PoPLA code, then you appeal to PoPLA using all the points available to you from the third post of the NEWBIES. If you appealed late because you didn't receive the original charge and they didn't provide a PoPLA code then you are in ignore mode unless you get a letter of/before claim or a court claim.

You aren't going to pay anything.

Look for their complaints policy on their website and put in a robust complaint that:

(a).  Group Nexus didn't send the PCN that their later letter mentions, so you suspect this is either deliberate or negligent conduct, or their Mail Consolidator has failed to send a batch of PCNs in June.  Several people have reported the same 'coincidence' from Group Nexus.  You expect them to investigate to disprove this, because if they fail to deal properly with this complaint you will send it to AOS@britishparking.co.uk

    (b)  They failed to 'stop work' on the case and sent a further demand even though an appeal was already lodged on DATE.

You want your POPLA Code and have complained to your MP and the retailer about this conduct.*

    * do both, now

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No Popla Code - the appeal was 25 days after the intial charge that I didn't actually receive - is that too late?
Does this mean I do nothing? I really don't want the hassle of court

The appeal site lets me put in details again - I haven't but should I in the attempt to freeze it again?

No, because that wasn't how I advised you to contact them this time. Not an appeal.

More important is to use their Complaints policy. Might take some digging to find but they are required to have one.

Here is a direct link to GroupNexus' complaints policy...
    groupnexus.co.uk/complaints-policy.

    For reference...
The BPA has included a column on their webpage of Approved Operators that has a direct link to each AOS member's Complaint's Policy.

Why? Are you going to be one of the thousands of gullible victims that poop their pants at the mere threat of legal action and the words "CCJ" and "bailiffs" and end up paying the scammers (more than they ever would if they went to court and lost) and thus becoming a part of the problem by funding the scam?

Why are you even here if you are not prepared to fight these scammers just because the going gets a little bit difficult? You have all the assistance and advice you need to successfully defend against these scammers.

There is nothing worse than reading about someone who would rather fund the scammers than fight them at their own game... civil contact law. Over 99% of the cases advised on are either won or discontinued before they ever get to court.

Consider this a valuable life learning experience that you can pass on to all your family and friends.
