Why Different Sized Text for Posts vs Replies?

As asked, why are replies shown in much larger text than the original post. For example ..

That thread don't look like that with my browser and settings for it.

Browser has just one text size option. Changing that setting affects replies but not the original post. This is with text size set to maximum ..

I've been looking into this and can't reproduce this on any browser.

I'm using Opera on Android. I ditched Firefox a few years ago when their "upgrade" brought in all those nested menus.0

Looks like someone has messed up the style sheet again. On android phone/chrome browser, everything is tiny, some impossible to read, except for the posts where the font is so massive that a single sentence can fill the entire screen.
Time for another try and a bit more testing prehaps?
