I received two pcn’s two days apart, from excel parking in Newcastle at a leisure centre, I was working there.
The parking was paid on both, but I had selected the wrong registration on the app. It was our old car reg that was replaced the week before. I have evidence from bank and app of payment.
I am dyslexic and do struggle with the app at times. The pcns were issued as I did not follow rules. I did not look at the board in the car park, I wouldn’t do that as I have difficulty reading. My mental health has gone through the roof with the constant pressure.
We are at the final stage where DCB have said no more communication if it’s not paid by 4th August court proceedings will follow.

Have you appealed? They should cancel as a minor typing error. Failing that get the leisure centre to cancel them as they can do that.2

as an aside - DO NOT PAY.

Yes we appealed to Excel, turned down. Then appealed to some higher parking body turned down again.0

But in the meantime, stick around in July because the Government are making what we hope is a very useful announcement and we can help you quote some words from it in an email reply to DCBLegal in the first week of August. Should shut them up for a while...
