BooJewels said:I think there are definitely some improvements in the notification process. This morning, if I follow any notification, it does at least now remove the red dot with a number after I've visited that page - which it wasn't doing yesterday.
@cymruchris - if you visit https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile/notifications can you not see the new posts listed there in chronological order- it's a 'per post' list like we used to get from the notification drop down.

I've just had a scroll back through the pages of notifications - and the last time I got notification of anything different was the 13th July:

Strange @cymruchris that it's seemingly working inconsistently - I just checked my own and it's showing an accurate list for me, including threads started this week and new posts to very long running ones. You'd think if it was incorrect, it'd be the same way incorrect for everyone.1

There is no "cog icon" on my laptop screen, just three dots.
Is this another overlooked (but significant) detail or am I missing something?
And while I'm posting this - and I know others have already raised this point - why is this font in the "Leave a Comment" box so ugly? [Edit: why is it different at all? It looks untidy and random]
I don't see the cog now (on my laptop and my mobile).
Just 3 dots that, when I click on it, gives me the option to edit or delete.
Is anyone still seeing the cog?1 -

The cog has now been replaced with the 3 dots.
We'll update that message as soon as we can to reflect the change, but we want to make sure changing that message doesn't trigger an email notification given our current issues with notifications.Join the MSE Forum

Couldn't see anything about the roll-over dropdown menus at the top of the pages on the Update? Is this going to be looked at (please). It's the main thing I find annoying now as I don't use the notifications.2

I'm finding the site to be very slow since the change over with pages taking quite awhile to load fullyMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Thanks for the feedback on the missing cog @MSE_Stephen. I agree with the poster who asked that the feedback on progress is posted on this thread. It seems the obvious place as this is where posters are raising concerns.
Incidentally, when I started to type your username, the predictive box sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. That's not a new issue as it happened on the previous format but it's a bug that needs addressing.0
