You’re right, but it’s a big game, move my funds back to tandem today as Chip have not raised their rate.
If they do back to Chip it goes.
It’s only part of my emergency fund, the rest is in a virgin isa, 120 days interest as penalty.
Small price to pay for access. Plus it’s at 5.50%.

The trouble is it's all moving too fast. I've got a chunk of money coming in this week and I've opened a Shawbrook account for it but by the time the money lands (probably Friday) I'll have been distracted by a couple of other slightly better rates! I realise this is a nice-to-have problem, and I probably should ignore an increase of 0.01% but...

And you just know that the day after I deposit it that Chip or someone will increase their rates.
