I noticed their rate had risen on Sunday and they hadn't notified me this time round, so I logged in and messaged them a request to move me to the Issue 36 account. They notified my this afternoon that it has been done.

Published timescales are a completely separate topic. The speed of in-and-out funds are the issue. They are very slow. One day to send money back and forth is like something from 2005. Should be instant.0 -

In terms of payments into their accounts, Shawbrook state in their general account T&Cs that 'All amounts received electronically by Us before the end of a Working Day are cleared on the day of receipt, and interest is calculated from that day.' In my experience, payments into my Shawbrook accounts usually take between 1 and 4 hours to be credited so, if anything, they have actually been quicker than expected. I have other savings accounts which are instant and some which take longer (even next day) and, while it would be great if they were all instant, it's very easy to just plan accordingly.3 -
I've made numerous withdrawals from my Shawbrook EA, without any problems - I've always used the 'Withdraw Money' option; I've never had to send a secure message for a withdrawal.
How odd, this is what I see when logging in with a laptop. No withdrawal option on either quick links or in the requests tab. There was me just thinking that their systems are even worse than they apparently are.0 -
Does anyone know if you can request a withdrawal over the phone?
after going through security etc0 -

Odd. Have you tried turning off any ad/pop-up blockers, or tried a different browser?

I’m glad Tandem have matched Shawbrook, as deposits and withdrawals are faster and easier.0
