Absolutely. When I did five days in the office I let myself buy lunch on a Friday, stuff bought the previous Saturday wasn't as fresh and by Thursday evening making lunch wasn't a priority.

I have leeks to make soup for next week.
  • Cheese and chutney sandwich, cherry tomatoes and then mango and strawberries for afternoon snack. Need to use some of my homegrown salad leaves next week 😊

  • Weather has improved as the day’s gone on here, quite a pleasant sunny evening now.

Cheese and egg salad for me today with a dressing made from mayo and mango chutney 😋
  • I have been taking lunch to work with me everyday but have fallen into buying a drink everyday. I need to pick up a slab of cans so theres something in the house to take with me.

That can be dangerous, for me going out of the office often means buying unnecessary junk.   Fortunately I can keep Ribera or similar in the office

WFH day.  Omelette made.   I need to be better organised next week!
And yes @GeorgianaCavendish we need to try and keep this up if possible.

I think it used to be part of the daily thread back in the day whereas now we have lots of different challenges.
Thanks @peb - I will definitely join in for August! Also happy to start a future month's thread if that helps
