New Fix out from EON - Is it worth it?
Now the EON app isnt great (it wont load again now I've been into it), but managed to get some screen shots of the new fixed tariff they are offering:
Current Next Flex:
Electric
Standing Charge - £49.60p
Unit Rate - £30.29p
Gas
Standing Charge - £29.11p
Unit Rate - £7.61p
Next Loyalty Fixed v4
Electric
Standing Charge - £43.57p
Unit Rate - £29.98p
Gas
Standing Charge - £23.08p
Unit Rate - £7.48p
Fixed for 12 months
£75 per fuel exit feed
Smart Meter (already got)
Now, is it worth it at this point? Or is it worth waiting till the next price cap?
Thanks
Jess

Only you will know if you need the peace of mind a fix will bring and won't be upset if SVT falls below it, or are willing to take a chance on the SVT.
Either could end up more expensive over a year and nobody really knows the answer.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

No exit fee if change tariffs within EON Next, nothing to lose by taking the fix.JessS2804 said:Now the EON app isnt great (it wont load again now I've been into it), but managed to get some screen shots of the new fixed tariff they are offering:

All I can see if the £75 Exit fee if cancel the tariff before the end date - is this only if you leave then rather than switch to a different one within EON?bristolleedsfan said:No exit fee if change tariffs within EON Next, nothing to lose by taking the fix.0 -
No exit fees if change tariff within Eon Next has been discussed at length, if you look back through thread you will see posts that evidence apparent fact.JessS2804 said:

Hi,
think you should wait, prices might come down a bit.JessS2804 said:Now the EON app isnt great (it wont load again now I've been into it), but managed to get some screen shots of the new fixed tariff they are offering:

The EON fix i am being offered is cheaper than that.0

Not worth it in my view, the standing charge would potentially be a lightly noticeable thing for light users, but the exit fee makes that so much not worth it.The annual saving for me would need to be at least double any exit fee.0

Cheaper than SVR with no exit fee to change tariffs within Eon Next, why wait ??????frugalmacdugal said:Hi,

It was likely a comedic reference to the mistype 100x greater than actually charged. Look again at the prices.bristolleedsfan said:

The prices as displayed show 12 month fixed rate with no exit fees if subsequently change to another Eon Next tariff cheaper than Next Flex. ( I was fully aware prices not displayed as they should be, correct answer would still be the same if they were displayed correctly)CSI_Yorkshire said:
