Thank you Keith. I'm just reluctant and extra cautious not to miss the deadline as Monday is a very busy day for me, have to take my dad for his chemotherapy and I afraid I'd have very limited access to the computer and no access to scanner if some new info needed to be add on on Monday and have to send out the Defence before 4pm. Hence the sense of urgency is surrounding me.

Hi, I have submitted the defence however CCBC AQ returned an email to me as it assumed it wasn't signed by me? I have been signed my name in my nickname/alternative name rather than my actual name, does this matter? The signature is as same as the signature in my Driving licence too. What should I do? Should I just amend my signature and sign it according to my actual name and re-submit again?

Email sent by CCBC AQ. I have couple hours to meet the deadline.

Replay telling them they are wrong, and that this is your signature - the difference is merely a nickname situation - and this signature matches that on your driving licence (copy attached) and you expect your defence to be reinstated forthwith.

Just updating my case here.
Defence was received on 24/07/2023. I'm now expecting DQ from CCBC and from DCBL (I will totally ignore DCBL from what I've learned from the forum) Thank you all.

I've received a letter from HM Courts saying they have acknowledged receipt of my Defence. Based on the letter, the claimant must contact the court within 28days after receiving a copy of my Defence, until today, I have not received DQ from the MCOL nor DCBL yet. It's little over 28days since I filed the defence on 24th July. Should I be concerned about it or just sit back and relax to expect the DQ any day from now?

The CCBC are a few months behind with their processing. Wait patiently.

Hi, checked MCOL portal today and some updates from the case, does this mean I should be receiving DQ in post in the next few days?
