Have Plum stopped offering direct debit?

The point is it will tell you whether the problem is the balance, or the overdraft thing, or something else. It might be worth losing the 5 pence of interest to leave £50 in there for a week. My weekly £2 Plum DD is still running fine and PL's above is also running fine so you need to figure out why yours is not.pecunianonolet said:
Because I can't see the point of leaving money in an account I don't use generating 0% interest. Plum didn't collect either without the overdraft settings in place so I put them on in hope it would change anythingboingy said:I think it might be to do with those overdraft settings. I've no idea how they work but why don't you just put £50 or £100 in the account to take those settings out of the equation.0 -
Yes, Natwest/RBS are still connected with Paypal but that would be showing as Debit Card Transaction and not as Direct Debit. I had weekly depositor activated but did paydays now as well and set it to collect tomorrow. Let's see if they take any money.PloughmansLunch said:pecunianonolet said:

Plum have continued to collect from me using the Pay Days option, unfortunately as the end of the month is next monday it's probably too late for you to get it set up in time to take 2 payments.
Have you still got paypal connected from the RBS/NatWest round-up/saver? 2 x manual additions to your paypal wallet (via a/c, not card) will count for the reward direct debits but you'd need to be quick about it due to the time it takes.0 -
Can someone in step by step terms explain to me how does the Weekly Depositor and Pay Days work?
What am I supposed to do to get it to take out a direct debit as soon as possible?0 -
Contacted Plum and they said the issue was about the open banking connection so I have now reconnected and that should work now. Set the payday depositor yesterday to the date of today and Plum has taken funds. Amended it now again to take every Wednesday so hoping they take again tomorrow. That could be a way of getting round to have an almost manual approach again.0

I've set the Pay Day thing for two separate days one after the other as it didn't work. I'm not sure when that comes out too and what else I am supposed to do.
Do I have to transfer money or leave a certain amount in to trigger it?0
