Have Plum stopped offering direct debit?

I just tried to do my monthly direct debit for Barclays using plum to qualify for 5% - trying to deposit only allows me to use open banking rather than direct debit -anyone else getting this? Is this the end of Plum for direct debits for account switching and other?

I noticed that this morning, I thought I was going round the twist to tell you the truth. Luckily you can still set up weekly direct debits though (for now), which is what I've had to do this morning, but one off DDs seem to have been stopped.2

Can you advise how? I have selected weekly depositor but can’t see anything where it mentions DDs0 -
It’s odd they’ve gone - surely Plum would need to give advance notice of this under the ts and cs right? If so, I suggest anyone affected complains about it.If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Just checked to deposit £2 and was redirected to RBS open banking. No chance to chose the deposit method. I remember that they sent out a few days ago an email about T&C changes but when I briefly checked it only talked about making the language clearer.
How do you set up weekly deposits?
If they stop DD completely, I guess their customer numbers will crash.2 -
Log in. Click "brain" then go to "weekly depositor".pecunianonolet said:How do you set up weekly deposits?3 -
Thanks, at least you can withdraw the £2 every week and recycle them for the following week.Bridlington1 said:

You have to wait a while for the deposits to clear though I've found - sometimes up to 5 working dayspecunianonolet said:

Makes sense - it takes around that for the direct debit process to complete to the point the funds are available in the beneficiary's account. Easy to forget now the pain of waiting days for BACS payments between accounts to land.

This isn't the first time I've come to these boards to ask a question only to find not only the question asked but also the solution given. Thanks to the OP and @Bridlington1

As much as I agree of changed terms or features, I don’t particularly want eyes too close on my account which a complaint would bring because all I use them for is a once monthly £1 direct debit and they could easily decide to close my account or limit in some way - and as there is a workaround mentioned above which will do for now.ForumUser7 said:It’s odd they’ve gone - surely Plum would need to give advance notice of this under the ts and cs right?
