PIP put in for change of circumstance now confused

Hello all
i am on PIP standard living and have put in for a change of circumstance 13th of June 2023 my annual review is for November 2024

if you put in a change of circumstances do you know how many pages it is?

It's just that I have put in for a change and waited 2 weeks for the form to arrive but it had not so phoned the DWP as it had not arrived (27th june) and then it arrived a day later,so i filled that out and it was 24 pages and sent of

so today I have a form 34 pages that was sent the day i phoned 27th and said i hadnt recieved but this is 34 pages and more detailed

my award runs out Nov 2024 im hoping this is not a general review it does say thanks for telling us about a change just that it is 10 pages more

as usual it came on a saturday so cant ring but getting a bit worried that i may have to fill another form when ive just done one,it was deffo the same day i phoned dwp to send me another form but its 34 page s worth

would look forward to your thoughts on this
thank you

When you report a change of circumstances you will normally be sent the standard PIP2 is used when you make a new claim. I don’t know how many pages the current version has.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

From what you say about the forms that you were sent being different and asking different questions then I believe that the first one was the wrong form, sent by mistake, so you need to fill in and return the 33 page one (the PIP2).
It sounds as if the first one you got was a PIP1, titled at the top "Claim Form" - that is only for new claims and is not usually sent out anyway because they usually take those details over the phone if they can. The current PIP1 on the online 'PIP Toolkit' is 20 pages long, and usually comes with a couple of pages of notes.
The second one you got sounds more like the one you should have been sent, it sounds like a PIP2 questionaire titled at the top "How your disability affects you". The current PIP2 is 33 pages long.
(There is also a 3rd form they could have sent instead of the PIP2, that's an AR1 titled at the top "Award Review - How your disability affects you", it's usually sent out when the PIP award is reaching it's end date but it can sometimes be sent for a change of circumstances. That one is only 16 pages long).
Those numbers should be at the bottom left of each page, but they can sometimes have different numbers on the bottom just to confuse things.
PS you can see examples of each of those forms on the PIP Toolkit webpage: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-personal-independence-payment-pip-toolkit
(They may be slightly different from the one(s) that you got, but the layouts and questions should be similar).

    ok  hope  dont confuse matters
my award runs out November 2024

both forms say the same on the front eg

Making sure your award is right
Thank you for telling us your needs have changed
We want to make sure you are still getting the right amount of Personal Independence Payment (pip). To do this we need you to  complete the attached Award Review how your disability effects you form

it says exactly the same on both front pages and bottom right PIP 1021 (no mention of Claim form on either) both writng is the same on front just one is 24 pages and the other 34

it is all so confusing i will ring them in the morning im hoping the first form will be ok as have completed and sent it of i really dont want to have to fill another longer form and im away for a week next week so this could drag on

    thank you

Yes the DWP are know for being confusing.
The "PIP 1021" is the number of the covering letter, it is not the number of the forms themselves.
PIP1021 should say at the top "Personal Independence Payment"'-  "Making sure your award is right". The example I have here is 4 pages long.
The form itself that you fill in should be the pages after those first 4. Do those later pages have a number at the bottom?

Some of the least informed people are the ones who answer the phones at the DWP.

Personally I would send the completed form that was first sent.
If they do need the longer form, then you will be contacted
