No you don't put your details on the DQ at all. You aren't a witness or expert and don't need permission to lay rep.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    So check 'No' for E5.
Take the Lay Rep Order that KeithP refers to in the event there is a court date.
Fingers crossed for a discontinue though.

E5 is not about lay repping or witness per se, it is about needing any special requirements, e.g. for a disability: -
Do you believe you, or a witness who will give evidence on your behalf, are vulnerable in any way which the court needs to consider?

And while your case is quiet this month, we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the private parking draft Impact Assessment by mid-September?

Or let me do a submission containing YOUR photo evidence please...

You want to help us change the law?

To be clear, we are nearly there; it's not a petition or some weak campaign, it's a final push on a law already passed, to cap the £PCN levels and ban the fake DRA fees.

The Government has a Call for Evidence open right now.

We are wanting photos of unmanaged car parks, Hospital car park signs near you that show £50 or £60 as the deterrent, and Aldi, Asda, Tesco or Sainsburys £70 signs please.

    All discussed here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6463361/dluhc-private-parking-code-government-launches-call-for-evidence-discussion-thread/p6

We need photo evidence of low or no deterrent car parks near you, please!

    NOT £100, NOT £90 or £80.

Signs for lower sums, or sites with no PPC.

It leaves you waiting patiently for the CNBC to tell you that they have transferred your case to your nominated hearing court.

    But this is normal.

Takes two months before the next stages, as seen this Summer in all the other claim threads that we hope you are dipping into occasionally, for comparison and confidence.

And the Template Defence thread tells you what to expect next.  First post; first 12 steps.

See you in 2024 when you are at WS stage.

Apart from that please help us with what I posted above. Everyone can take photos if you want to change the law.  I will use your evidence, I promise.

    PLUS:

Please please (please) do this and give the Government your evidence and tell them how receiving extortionate 3 figure demands feels:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6471857/please-reply-to-question-4-of-the-governments-call-for-evidence-re-the-level-of-parking-charges

It's one email. One question. Change the law...

  • Hi CM,

I’ll follow the provided link to better understand the assignment & endeavour to contribute.

Meanwhile Gladstone have written to my dad confirming it now being a defended claim and requesting that the directions form be completed.  I sent back the N180 back in July.  Presume that Gladstone are playing catch-up.

Just check (on the relevant MCOL account) that the N180 has been received.
