Yeah got the email….. what does inactive mean though, I’ve had a few £100 sitting in for a couple of years now, login now and then but don’t take any actions.

You have to read the terms and conditions.

Unfunded after 90 days of opening - account closed.
No activity for 3 years. Account temporary blocked or if unfunded closed.
No activity for 15 years. Closed.
If there was no activity for three years and the account was temporarily blocked, they'd contact before closing it right? I can't find the new terms online, and I'm not an account holder so didn't get the email. I'm just curious because I operate lots of accounts with other providers that remain with no activity and a minimum balance, solely for loyalty purposes/simplicity of not applying as a new customer.

They have obviously got a very large amount of accounts on their books, that were opened when their rates were good and have since been almost emptied. I don't blame then for wanting to tidy this up.

Alternatively they could get competitive again which would boost activity levels!

Let them close it. If they want to keep rubbish interest rates, I won’t use it and therefore don’t need it.

I've only got 1p left with them anyway, so don't really care what happens to it  :)

Marcus no longer offers good rates.
I've just taken the last few pounds out.
