Yes, Idee. That's it exactly and I have been using Zerobase which has so far been very good. However, I got radiotherapy burns on my collarbone and they gave me hydrogel and dressings (although they are a bit difficult to put on properly) for that part. That's been amazing. I'm now getting peeling and burning under the breast so I'm wondering if it would b better using the hydrogel there as well. I'm sure they will phone me back just as soon as they can. They are really very good. I hope you've recovered now. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8

Hi turtles, got back from our weekend camping trip with friends last night. It was a fantastic weekend with lots of great music on and off the campsite - wonderful brass band music at the Durham Miners Gala. Stuck to budget and didn't spend too much (thanks to OH paying for alcoholic drinks). I hardly drink alcohol, so I do appreciate that he uses his own money to cover the costs of that. He respects that our shared income is to support our joint pursuits, and for that I'm very grateful.
We'll be collecting DS shortly from his grandparent's who arrived back from their trip this morning. Tomorrow we will be heading to the family caravan for a week. The weather's meant to be horrible, so I'm making preparations for that. 'Mission Arty Farty, Paper Party' involves lots of paper-based activities: colouring books, puzzle books, reading books, and even an origami set DS was given as a gift last Christmas! Friends are joining us from Thursday so we will wrap up and do some day trips.
Sending my love and hugs to you all. We're turtles so we may be slow, but we get there in the end. Don't we?! Keep swimming and rest on a dry dock when you need a break, bask in the sunshine if there is any. xxx

Think @Toni'sfriend & @grandmanerd need time in the chaise to relax. I'll take the first stint of bringing you snacks & drinks x
Took DH to the hospital for a blood test, this will be weekly to monitor how he's doing now he's back home again. Looked round 3 CS, nothing to tempt us in the first 2, but doent £2.20 in the third one. Walked s mile round a small lake, saw a family of swans with 3 half grown cygnets. Spent the rest of the day in the garden, lots of weeding done & snipped the branches DH had pruned. Lots of horseflies found me tasty though 😓
Read some of my book, realised the reason I've not heard any more about the RM survey, is cos I've not registered for an account with the new provuder, so did that. Washed the dishes after tea, then watched TV with DS1 & did more if my rug.
Grateful for a nice time in town, finishing weeding a border, good music whilst I workedUse it up, wear it out

Got a bit lost there trying to find us.
Appointment with oncologist this morning, All well apart from the radiation burns but that'll sort itself out in due course. Another appointment in six weeks time. Himself is a bit lost. I think he thought they were going to tell me I was cured. Little or no chance of that happening any time soon. It's a long process.
Got totally soaked on the way to and from the hospital and, wouldn't you just know it, the sun came out just after we got home.
So it's been a quiet day apart from that. Just some soup for dinner and then an early night with my book. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Don't like it - it's weird
Had a lovely day out with grand-daughter and her parents. First choice pub was full, baby didn't like getting back into the car when she'd been promised her lunch. Limited choice at second pub but we picked several sharing starters (gave me more salad options) and it was very tasty.
My presents pleased the little one and the grown ups and then we went on to soft play. Limited time there (just enough to tire the little one out) as they had to take me home and didn't want to get caught in the rush hour (although most would be coming the other way). Will be seeing them later in the month for DS2's latest graduation.
Grateful for caterpillar presents (I have a brightly coloured turtle tea towel from Australia and a soy candle), lovely food, feeling pleasantly tired (not going to feel guilty about not starting on any tasks). I did get through to the pharmacy yesterday so that's the most important bit sorted.7 -
Hello, had a good day. Student was rather good today in the lab, great discussions etc. Also got a lot of tricky stuff of my own work done. No idea how I managed to do this just over a month ago with less mental clarity.
Got totally soaked walking home today and got told off by the kids for jumping in puddles, lol (I was completely dripping wet by that point anyway). Had HM lasagne for dinner (proper HM dinners also habe been on the rise), harvested fruit for my breakfast smoothie, just had a face mask and now having a cosy evening listening to the rain and reading. Seeing and enjoying the small things in life again.
Oh and NSD 6.

Up early to take DH to town for the dentist. I sat in the car & wrote a long email to my auntie in America, it's been on my to do list since March! Once home I did my tax return, so that's another thing ticked off 😃
After dinner I met the pupil I used to work with & gave them the photo book I'd had made. They absolutely loved it, said it was better than any toy or game & it'll always be special to them. I felt quite touched at their reaction. Met my work bestie & had a look in a CS (the other one was shut). Bought us a book each. Paid money in at the PO on my way home & had a good chat with a lady who works there.
Had a nap before tea to recharge my batteries, as I've felt so tired today. Washed up after tea & did some hand sewing on the memory bear.
Grateful for pupil's pleasure in the photo book, getting frogs done & chatting with people I've not seen for a long timeUse it up, wear it out
