Yes but will it be our accounts opened on 11 oct?
    Extending the term of
    your account.
    Effective from the 11
    October 2023.
We’ll be extending the term of the interest rate on your eSaver Limited Edition (Issue 1) from 12 to 20 months. We'll contact you with more details of when this rate ends closer to your new maturity date.

I don't understand the question. My account was opened in October 2022 and originally had a 12 month duration. Santander has now said that will be extended to 20 months, so instead of the rate ending in October 2023 it will now end in June 2024.

My account was opened on 11 oct 22 the day it launched hope you are right
  • Mine is empty, at current interest rate, so 12 to 20 months means very little unless they are planning to challenge the leading rates again imo.

We both received the same notification email. Accounts opened on 18th October. But the rate's not particularly compelling so I'm not that excited.

It was a fairly short-lived offer. My first payment in was the 16th of October, so I'm assuming that was when I opened it.

I haven't had an email yet - but there's plenty time.....

I don't keep much in there, it's mainly insurance in case my phone gets lost/broken/bricked by an update etc etc and I can't access the rest of my EA funds in app only accounts.
