  • Just a quick qu. Should you get acknowledgment from the county court in a similar way to CCBC? Thx

Depends on the court but I would expect something from an automated system.  Maybe just send a one line email as a check asking if it was received and see if you have an acknowledgment for that. If you do, you'll know something was wrong with your previous e-mail, too big or wrongly addressed for example. If you don't you will have to phone the court (on Monday) and ask.

So I have my hearing tomorrow! Rang & double checked as I honestly thought DCB would discontinue as is their style! But seems I’m not so fortunate & have to go through the full rigmarole. Am now feeling a bit nervous, any advice or pearls of wisdom welcome 🥲

I'd phone the court first thing and ask them to confirm that the hearing is still going ahead. There have been some recent cases where DCB Legal have discontinued, but failed to notify the Defendant, who duly turns up at the appointed hour, only to be told of the discontinuation by the court usher.

I phoned the court yesterday & was told it’s still going ahead & all court fees have been paid.

Did DCB Legal actually send a legal rep to attend?
