This is what my solicitors said might be worth asking...
My other concern is that we have nothing from Homes England confirming that they will provide the necessary confirmation of discharge document (form DS1) required by the Land Registry to remove their existing charge.

When I settled the HTB loan there was no mention by my solicitor of any DS1 form. I would expect that the HTB company would be responsible for letting land registry know the loan has been settled and therefore remove the charge on the property? I won't be selling for at least 2 years so plenty of time to sort it out I guess. I did find the £240 admin fee just for the privilege of paying off my loan quite funny!1

we paid £200 also, still waiting for authority to complete....
