Hi,
I posted in another thread but have been advice to make a new post.
I have received a letter from TNC - notice of intention to instruct Solicitor. Im worried I may have made a mistake as I received a fine from Have a Nice Car Park, I decided to ignore the fine rather than contact them but then I forgot about it. It was at a new Heron Food Store and I only went in for under 10 mins . I spoke to the store who confirmed a lot of their customers have received these notices and they said ring them up and tell them you will not be paying but I just ignored the .
My Question now is should I continue to ignore the TNC letters?
Thank you

Yes. IGNORE TNC.
As per the NEWBIES thread 4th post. Click there now (you have two links on this page - top and bottom - to hop straight back to page one of the parking board).
Read the Announcement for NEWBIES TO READ FIRST.
One favour please: ignore TNC but don't go just yet if you want this scam stopped.
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add a fake £70 fee on top of the already stupidly high parking charge - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79310609/#Comment_79310609
Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens.
...anticipated very soon...end of July we think.
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers.
Separate submissions from each driver.
I am sure you and your family want your voice heard to stop this happening again.

It's not a fine. Makes no odds.

Hi, Im back bit later than August but I have received 2 Risk of Legal Action Letters from Credit Investigation Services (UK). They are now asking for £170.
thanks0 -
You don't need advice about that because the forum covers ignoring CIS.
The only reason I said 'see you in August' was to do this vital Call for Evidence, which is still open:

You haven't read your replies properly I am afraid3

Just to be clear:You don't have a fine. You have not taken out a credit agreement. You do not have a debt.TNC and CIS are the same companyA debt collector pretending you have a debt cannot take legal action.3
