Is my county court business centre letter fake?

Hello - newbie here, having read and taken a great deal of comfort from most of the posts I would like to ask a few questions of my own, having received a CLAIM FORM from the PO BOX address in NORTHAMPTON. It looks fake and unofficial, not signed and the stamp is just a printed one in fact the whole thing is printed and in grey and white and looks like it's just a copy but has several pages including a response pack but the return address for sending document AND PAYMENTS - obviously is not the county court at all so any help would be very much appreciated - thank you

You should be able to log into MCOL online, or I would suggest calling the court directly if you're not sure.3

Genuine claim forms look very amateurish with a dodgy looking but very real "stamp".
Note that it will not have been sent from a court but from a business centre in Northampton.
As above, set up a Government Gateway and see if you can log in using the password provided on the claim form.
If you decide to post it here, thoroughly redact all personal information including the password.
If it is real, then tell us more and follow the guide to court in the NEWBIES, and the template defence thread that includes a twelve step guide. Do tell us the name of the PPC and where the alleged event occurred.
Don't do the AoS until day six at the earliest, but don't miss the deadline.

These MCOL claims do look surprisingly shoddy.
They obviously come from Northampton as that's the CCBC (admin centre) where they all start. Not the local court where you will get it transferred to as part of the process. Why not just look at Google images for a parking claim form? Yours is the same.
It's a real claim form and you must defend. VERY EASY to do as we have a template defence against parking claims. There's no CCJ or extra costs risk if you defend and we almost always see cases won by Defendants.
SO DO NOT PAY.
Do not make a partial admittance. Do not ignore it but don't rush to write your own defence because we have this covered for you.
Read the 2nd post of the NEWBIES sticky. What's the date of issue top right, and who is the roboclaim 'legal firm' and which PPC is the Claimant?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

KeithP said:What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?concernedSN said:22nd June 2023With a Claim Issue Date of 22nd June, you have until Tuesday 11th July to file an Acknowledgment of Service. Do not file an Acknowledgment of Service before 27th June, but otherwise there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 25th July 2023 to file your Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -

Lovely. Thought so. The most common one.
You've read a few DCBLegal / UKPC threads by now and hopefully spotted that this will be discontinued without a hearing, and to use the defence by @Johny86 like everyone else does?
Read at least ten threads like yours. You'll see.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So still do nothing (as I have NOT so far) or still complete as per KeithP had advised above as it seems daunting and really don't want to get it touch with anyone if don't have to - sorry to sound needy, but I am0
