Can you access your funds in these new accounts without having to wait 14 days, like Tesco Saver, and others make you wait?

Happened to me a few times - took about 3 hrs to come through other time takes seconds. 

this is now more than a day though.

In any case I got fed up waiting and applied again, and the new one is open. I can see at least something happened about the first application as the new open account number is +2 over my last account.

Although I got emails saying the ac was open & ready for funding, Friday's fast track never appeared online for me.
Todays effort was instant but ac number was +4 over the old... ?

Although either way I'm going to stick with 2 live eventually, one just for transfer in and never close just as my bank keeps flagging new Cynergy account payments to call them up.

So once that 0.5 becomes a 1 I can use that for the balance instead and the newest for the transfers in.

I've heard here before some people get their account open but not showing on the website. It requires contacting them to fix that. It's just odd in my case I didn't even get the open & ready email.

Also they'll ironically email you, if not sorted, to remind you that you still need to fund it.

I've no idea about the +4, other than if you hit refresh a few times when submitting. The only non +1 increment I've had myself (other than this +2, which is explainable by the first application) was a fresh new account number starting point.

Normally the new account opens in a few mins . But not this time I applied twice Saturday still.not.showing the new account will call sometime Monday if still not opened

Yes.  As soon as the account appears on your login (which is normally straightaway but sometimes a couple of hours or overnight)

I’m just thinking whether it’s worth switching to their new ISA issue.

Yes account number changes 
I always calculate the increase. If it’s £1 don’t bother, if it’s £100 then yes bother.
