Not sure if this is the right board but any advice welcome
I tried out a mifi with three but it didn't work out so I cancelled contract within the trial period which was fine they said they would send a jiffy bag for me to return the item,it never arrived so I just posted it myself, unfortunately I didnt get a tracking number as I just used stamps that I already had. This would probably have been end of Feb or early March.
I assumed it had been delivered but yesterday had an email saying it's been 2 weeks(??) can I return the item or they will restart the contract, bearing in mind I have never actually been billed for anything and was assured even though I receive bills by text that my contract has been cancelled, this was confirmed by phone in March and April when no mention was made of device.
customer chat is now insisting I return device or provide proof ,I argued its unfair to suddenly claim they have not received it months after I sent it.
I have said they will have to pursue whatever avenues they need to but I will not pay for a service I've never used. The conversation was left with them asking me to send them proof.
Not sure where they will go with this cant even sign in or email them as you need a phone number which I dont have
As  I said any advice welcome
