The rubbish DRP letter has missed a box ?dawn403 said:Coupon-mad said:Unlikely to go to court but it might.
Doesn't matter. No risk and very easy to defend, as long as MIL doesn't ignore a court claim (or move house and fail to tell ECP to erase her old address).
With your one, you simply lodge a complaint online to ECP (see their complaints policy) that they failed to accept or reject your appeal, and if they don't cancel and wind their stupid necks in, you will report them to Gemma Dorans at the BPA AOS or the Conformity Assessment Board they are setting up.
Please show the DRP letter. Cover your data.
I want an image of a recent one, please.

I was joking. But now I'm intrigued about why the strong reaction? HahaCoupon-mad said:I'm tempted to write ''return to sender, not at this address'' next time one comes through. Please don't. I hope you are joking?!
Completely the wrong thing to do.
Thanks for the photo! Needed these for my submission to the Government this week.
I see these astonishingly misleading and intimidating sentences:
AND NO OPTION TO DISPUTE THE CHARGE
And you are told you are "too late" to appeal:
Yet the IPC told the Commons DLUHC Select Committee that this stage was a 'vital buffer against court' called "DEBT RESOLUTION".
IMHO based on all the evidence we see, I call that out as BS. This isn't anything of the sort.0 -
Also what's the best plan for the charge that we haven't appealed as we missed the deadline?Coupon-mad said:Unlikely to go to court but it might.

Complaint submitted;
I am writing to complain about the parking charge that I previously appealed against that was neither rejected nor accepted (reference number: xxxxxxxxxxxx).I am requesting that you cancel this and a second parking charge (reference number: xxxxxxx), on the grounds that;1. the charges are disproportionate to the loss of costs to the landowner.2. ECP have been unable to identify the driver.3. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 has been breached due to unfair/unclear terms and notices. ECP's signage does not meet the signage requirements in the 'Private Parking Code of Practice'.I have also written to my local MP and the landowner (Austringer Capital Limited) to complain. And I will be writing to report ECP to Gemma Dorans at the BPA AOS if these charges are not cancelled.

So do nothing unless you get a court claim2

Neither of these points have legs I'm afraid. Looks like you read some really old stuff:1. the charges are disproportionate to the loss of costs to the landowner.2. ECP have been unable to identify the driver.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well they didn't care anyway, just said that as it is now with the debt collectors I would have to speak directly to them.Coupon-mad said:Neither of these points have legs I'm afraid. I will complain to Gemma Dorans. Is there a discussion board with an example and contact details?0 -
No just put in a complaint as per the BPA website.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am really needing someone to help with these charges. Ignoring the debt collection letters is giving me and my mother-in-law anxiety and she received a call of Moorside debt collectors (we are worried this is related?).
We have written to the MP, Sir Greg Knight and the landlords, but had no luck. I went to complain to bpa about a lack of Popla code but reading the clause it pertains to I am not sure they would side with me as the wording on all these documents makes it sound like I am in the wrong cos I did not provide the details of the driver. Where does it state specifically that the onous is on ecp to do so?0 -
Search the forum for complaint BPA Gemma Dorans but otherwise just write what you feel, that ECP are not issuing a POPLA code unless you reveal driver's the identity - if indeed that is your complaint. Always looks better if it is freshly written rather than a template.1
