I hate when people post low usage like this without any information!Krakkkers said:50p standing charge and 56p in units. (1.75kwh)
2-bed house with low usage currently averaging 4kWh per day.
As a comparison, high use 3 bedroom house is currently averaging 12kWh (£3). Less use of the tumble dryer in this warm weather is a help!

Maximum of £26.71 on 17th January and minimum of minus £6.30 (i.e. Octopus paying us) on 4th June. Average £4.69. We have solar panels capable of 11 kW and use GSHP for heating.0

This seems like a good post to pick out as an example of why these comparisons are useless. If you have solar you have the cost of capital outlay to take into account. Divide that by the number of years and days you expect it to last and add that to your daily costs. For ASHP you can add the cost of installation and maintenance. The same for gas. With E7 you can add the installation cost but they have the longest lifespan and no ongoing maintenance costs. Then you will see the actual daily costs of individuals housing. Even then house size and lifestyle won't be accounted for.UncleK said:Maximum of £26.71 on 17th January and minimum of minus £6.30 (i.e. Octopus paying us) on 4th June. Average £4.69.
