I hate when people post low usage like this without any information!Krakkkers said:50p standing charge and 56p in units. (1.75kwh)
2-bed house with low usage currently averaging 4kWh per day.
As a comparison, high use 3 bedroom house is currently averaging 12kWh (£3). Less use of the tumble dryer in this warm weather is a help!0 -

got my yearly electricity usage to 900 kwh a year by using what i generate and using low power items sequentially such as 600w kettle and 1400w air fryer.0 -
average use 2 May to 2 June is £2 per day for electricity. another £1.50 for the same period for gas. 3 bedroom bungalow.
but this is meaningless as it says nothing about how much we use. it also doesn't take into account how much of the time we spend at home compared to others, whether we have or haven't got a EV, the number of people living here etc etc.

3 Bed semi, 2 adults, 2 small children, GCH & water. I Work from home.We have solar, but considering self use + import as the most representative figure for comparison, in May we consumed on average 6.65kWh of electricity a day. We might have been a bit more careful with energy use if we'd not been generating our own, but that's hard to quantify. At SVT prices that would be £2.64 a day.It didn't cost us that, because our 3.6kWp solar setup accounted for a little over half of that 6.65. Our actual import costs were around £1.53 a day (actually a couple pence higher than SVT because we're on Flux that charges more in the evening peak)At the same time, Flux Export paid us £2.38 a day on average, so its negative at this time of year.January it was 8.2kWh/day consumed (£3.29 equivalent), with 6.46kWh/day coming from the grid and another 4kWh going out, which worked out to about £2 a dayBefore we got the solar or started taking our usage seriously we averaged about 10kWh/day all year round.Your figure doesn't seem unreasonable if you're cooking and doing laundry for a family.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day).
