    Did you get your costs?
    Interesting. Nice result!

Yes she says above that she got awarded "Fees + half day attendance" at the second hearing.

Please do show us the final written order, however short, once it arrives.
@Coupon-mad, I think the part you are referring to is a question that you asked and I cannot see the answer in the positive!
    Hi @Le_Kirk

You had a March hearing and the Judge actually insisted (during the hearing) that you had to go away and pay for a formal N244 application to strike out the claim?  Why couldn't he just deal with the matter of the court's own volition and using their case management powers there and then?! - Yes DJ asked us to pay £275 and give us recent hearing date but luckily it was with another Judge.

That is madness really.  Not good use of his case management powers!  But those fees ended up being paid back to you by the parking firm anyway?

I have to hire the solicitor and he also confused and wanted to see the order which came late.
  • As expected new LBC received from Gladstone for 3 other PCNs,

My car was currently registered on their permit portal. I do not recognize the dates on LBC because since car registered to their permit portal and if I receive any PCNs, I submit online appeal and they cancel the PCNs mainly ANPR.

I am planning to send below reply for LBC- but need advise, some PCN challenged and provide drive details, how to dealt with this now.

The alleged debt is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

I am the keeper of the vehicle and was not the driver at the time of the alleged parking sessions. Due to the length of time elapsed since, I am unable to name the driver and I do not believe your client can hold the keeper liable.

I note the amount being claimed is a hugely exaggerated amount which the Government called "extorting money from motorists"

Do not send me the usual blather about that. I have two questions and under the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims 2017 (PAP) I am entitled to specific answers:

    1. Am I to understand that the additional £70 represents what you dress up as a 'Debt Recovery' fee? and if so, is this nett or inclusive of VAT? If the latter, kindly explain why I am being asked to pay the operator's VAT?

    2. With regard to the principal alleged PCN sum: is this damages or will it be pleaded as consideration for parking?

Why aren't you adding the proof you told us about, that "My car was currently registered on their permit portal."

I just took the copy from the first post and need advise what else can be added. Is this good enough ?

The alleged debt is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

I am the keeper of the vehicle and was not the driver at the time of the alleged parking sessions. My car was currently registered on Client's permit portal at XXXX. Due to the length of time elapsed since, I am unable to name the driver and I do not believe your client can hold the keeper liable.

Better to change as suggested, either

    OR

    Yes.

And DON'T bury that vital info by adding this in the same paragraph:

"Due to the length of time elapsed since, I am unable to name the driver and I do not believe your client can hold the keeper liable".
