North West - both fuels cheaper on July flexible rateScot_39 said:Welcome perhaps to the new normal.Do you have the non fixed SVT pricing for your region to compare ?
Exit fees on 12 month fix apply when changing tariff within Octopus Energy as well as if change supplier. So more expensive - by a couple % on electric anyway - and a £300 exit fee.The 0.65p on electric in line though with CI ave forecast rises 0.32 Q4 - but 1.17p increase by Q1 - leaving any further increase in Q4 covered (if it is an increase)(PS - Have these been updated since ?)

Octo exit fees are £75 per fuel including changing tariff, maybe they are trying to limit the numbers taking fixed rate.1 -
Got this email today.
No point going on this with the current price of tracker & Agile tariffs unless you want peace of mind.
If those prices spike a bit more significantly, then I will consider a fix.0 -

Octo exit fees are £75 per fuel including changing tariff, maybe they are trying to limit the numbers taking fixed rate. Thanks for the new CI data - those new cap estimate figures which whilst not a killer - do perhaps suggest there might be some slight mileage in waiting. As an all electric user - these new figures are better for me - as show an ongoing decrease - rather than the c1.2p increase - so over 2p less for Q1 / winter months - if correct. That Q1 £1944 is c£100 lower than the £2045 I quoted from mid May.

There are no fixes available through Octopus on my account.Someone please tell me what money is0

There is a hint that EOn might be opening up its Loyalty fix v4 to more customers.
Perhaps Octopus will to.
I suspect agile and tracker prices are going to close - even if dont fully match /converge - pretty quickly with Ofgem style pricing.

t"he exit fee is for the specific tariff (because we've bought the years' energy for you at that price). So the fee applies if you leave the tariff, whether to another Octopus one or to another supplier."
