Wow, is this the first time they've set exit fees? First time I've seen them do it, anyway.0

Is it a good fix ?0

They have to act like the big 4/5 they are now and offer the same mainstream options as others around them. As well as their uniquely Octopus products👍0

Welcome perhaps to the new normal.Do you have the non fixed SVT pricing for your region to compare ?0

Exit fees on 12 month fix apply when changing tariff within Octopus Energy as well as if change supplier.

Not sure i'll be moving to it with a £300 exit fee as it works out more expensive to me i'll risk it and wait to see if they have any lower onesMortgage 167,565/183,0000

Got this as well, I was thinking about it but think I will hold off a bit longer and see if something better comes along.0

Exit fees on 12 month fix apply when changing tariff within Octopus Energy as well as if change supplier. So more expensive - by a couple % on electric anyway - and a £300 exit fee.The 0.65p on electric in line though with CI ave forecast rises 0.32 Q4 - but 1.17p increase by Q1 - leaving any further increase in Q4 covered (if it is an increase)(PS - Have these been updated since ?)Seems that Octopus are perhaps getting a bit risk averse as well. The EOn loyalty fix seems to have reversed direction again - v1 was much lower SC - v2 the July cap - v3 then v4 each a little lower - more generous - but few % - not ground breaking - but currently seems selectively offered - not all even coming off a recent fix were being offered early versions - the v4 ?.
Perhaps they might too.
