Virgin Mobile 300mins 300 text fo £10 Back!!! Sim only Monthly DD, cancel at anytime
A while back Virgin Media took over NTL and reduced it mobile phone packages for exisiting customers. I managed to get a great deal on my phone. It is a sim only pay monthly one. £10 for 300mins and 300 text, as long as you have one of their other services. So being I was paying £30 for the same thing on a different contract with Virgin (!), I bit their arm off.
When my partner's mobile contract come up for renewal (back in summer) tried to get him on it only to be told, 'sorry that offer ended 3 days ago' Despite my pleedinng of we have full package from you and been with Virgin (NTL) for over 5 years fell on deaf ears!
Having recently checked out website to see if we can better our package pleased to annouce back on their - but only unitl 31st Dec - So Act QUICK!!!
REMEMBER - this is a sim only deal, so you don't get a new phone every 12 months. That being said they give you an upgrade allowance for every £100 you spend. So changed mine a few weeks ago for a swanky Walkman phone which minus allowance and with P&P cost me £24! Not bad for an £70 phone.
Its a pay monthly DD so you can cancel at anytime. Although at this value I doubt I ever will

That is a really good offer. Anyone who is not a Virgin cable customer can get a similar deal from O2 or T-Mobile, but not as cheap.
O2 have a SIM only deal with no minimum contract. 200 mins and 400 texts for £15 per month. Or for £20 per month you get 400 minutes, 1000 texts and free calls to O2 mobiles. See http://o2.co.uk
T-Mobile offer 300 mins and 1000 texts for £20 per month. See http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/sim-card/pay-monthly/pay-monthly-sim-card/just-sim-200 -
i have noticed even better deal.
with carphonewarehouse you can get VIRGIN SIM ONLY 6 months contract.
it costs £15 per month you get 150mints 150 text.
best bit is after 4 months you can claim back all £90 pound by sending your 4th airtime bill.
company like carphonewarehouse you should not have any problems for cashback. make sure you send you 4th airtime bill..0 -
If you really want to go for a cash back deal on a SIM card then better still, buy the same VIRGIN SIM ONLY offer through OneStopPhoneShop and get 6 months free via redemption in two stages. See http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/mobile-phones/virgin%20mob/vmobpmsim/virgin/vir15simonly
The beauty of the other SIM only offers is that there is no commitment. You are free to end the contract at any time, useful if you're thinking about a contract phone but waiting for a new model to come out for the price of a new phone to drop a little before you buy.
With the Virgin six month deal it's a 6 month contract and there's the risk and hassle of claiming your cash back.0 -

You can only get this deal if you are a cable subscriber. So for example if you have their ordinary broadband you do not qualify. Prejudice in the extreme.
But the offer is available to Virgin Media Non Cable Customers, all you have to do when ordering is quote your Virgin Media Account Number.
Just call Virgin Mobile Sales direct on 0845 6000 070 and they will sort it.0 -

I got it on Virgin ADSL earlier in the year. Best bit is I emailed recently to ask how much it would go up to if I left Virgin ADSL and they emailed back to say it wouldn't go up and I could keep the sim deal no matter what ISP I go with. Result.0 -

how is this better than the CPW deal exactly? i can think of no circumstance where taking a cashback deal with a subsidiary (OSPS) is better than with the flagship (CPW), or how 2 redemptions could ever be better than just one?0 -
yes i agree ferris.CPW deal seems lot better as A. well known retailer B. you only have to claim cash back once (£90). after cash back or after 6 months you are free to cancel contract (i daout if anyone would do that!).how is this better than the CPW deal exactly? i can think of no circumstance where taking a cashback deal with a subsidiary (OSPS) is better than with the flagship (CPW), or how 2 redemptions could ever be better than just one?
but if you are a cable customer i think £10 deal is very good...0
