Thank you @Fruitcake, and sorry to bother you with anopther (non)parking issue. I have put together two emails, 1) to the Total Parking Solutions and 2) to the Wales National pool, using the draft kindly provided by @Half_way. I ahve also added a modified version of the statement kindly offered by @1505grandad. The emails have now been sent, and I will post the responses I receive to this forum.

my best guess as to the response:

sports center will come out with some nonsense about it being nothing to do with them, as they use a third party company to manage their car park, and you need to contact the car parking company.

the PPC will ignore what you have sent, and come out with the usual stuff along the lines of.... after carefully considering your representations we have decided that the parking charge notice was correctly issued

@Half_way , this is encouraging. I thought that they would just cancel the penaly charge. I have also submitted complaint/appeal on the Total Parking Solutions website, for what it is worth.

It's not a Penalty Charge. It's a speculative invoice for an alleged breach of the contract you are supposed to have had with them.

Stop thinking of this as a fine or a penalty. You are a victim of a scam perpetuated by ex-clamper rogues who are only interested in extorting money from you.

Thank you @B789. We had this discussion before. The paper I received says "penalty change", but I know what it is and what it is worth, hence trying to contest it.

    What 'paper'?

TPS only issue PARKING Charge notices.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
