pack ups done for tomorrow.. and a click and collect.. I spend so much less when I don't let OH in the shop! This will be my challenge for the month.. stop OH spending money of stuff we don't need.. this includes plantsWrong part ordered for the car.. NEVER trust a man to order anything!!! It is now going to be the middle of next week before it is likely to be fixed but a fabulous excuse to not go to the outlaws any time soon.. They will no doubt be ringing soon to try their daily 'cause an argument' ... I have almost got OH trained.. he feels rude just hanging up so he passes me the phone and I do it because I don't care if anyone thinks I am rude lol. I may delight in it!My ankle is massively swollen.. I have about 4 bites on the leg and I grew a cankle!
4 parcels to arrange postage for and 1 still to find and package.2x DW2x WMlines cleared of dry stuff.. ooh washer just finished.. I will hang that out in a second.OH power washed the paving in the garden.. we need a load of sand and several bags of cement to repoint the pavers.. but I am starting to feel very pushed out and isolated and my efforts to be supportive are being thrown right back in my face.. I am not known for my patience.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Hello dear friends
Busy busy, sorry I havent caught up with the news. All is well here. Been hiking over the moors with DH today, day at home tomorrow.
House is reasonably presentable, anxiety is on a roller coaster for no apparent reason but I am battling against it.
Big squishy hugs to anyone who needs it.7 -
Whoops, forgot to post first thing this morning. Well, ok, not exactly first thing, but not too late in the day.
Anyhoo, wm x 2 done and dried in the sun. Especially DD’s stained white clothes which are now sun bleached and remarkably unstained. She will think I have worked a miracle and doesn’t need to know the tricks employed 🤫.
3 hours at the allotment. Hard, sweaty graft, but it looks better for it. One final push tomorrow and it should look better, just need to get something planted in the newly cleared ground. The rest of the day didn’t go to plan, outdoor flying which wasn’t my intention. Eventually remembered to get something out of the freezer, and had hm burgers with garden salad for dinner. And that’s me done for the day. Twot, for sure.
Hugs to one and all x6 -
I have news.....
After our few days in Wales last week we have bought a house!!!! And it was only the second house too 😆 It's perfect and nothing needs doing either. New house...Now the ball is rolling it should be only 3 months at most. No chain with us and our vendor has no chain too plus she wants to be up in Aberdeen in July if she can, although anytime up to September suits her and us too 😀Now the hard work starts, packing 😲😲

It's a grand little house, Natty! I hope all goes smoothly for your move xx
Twot here today too. Despite the heat, we had a good day out with K and the girls, though it would have been better if I had remembered to take the EH membership cards out of my purse and put them in my bum bag when I moved my bank card across- I only realised when we had nearly reached our destination, oops! This necessitated a last minute change of plan, as I wasn't going to pay the entry fee just so that the girls could play in the woodland adventure playground. Fortunately we found a free playground down by the river, with lots of interesting climbing frames and balance beams.
DH has to be at the horse piddle at 10.00 tomorrow for a glucose tolerance test, so he is now officially fasting and I'm off to bed. See you in the morning xxx

twot here too. took DD out for tea to celebrate. got 3 lots of washing dried, went to water at the aged ps. found a parcel in the garden that had clearly been there a few days but no notification through the door. also shifted the ‘free’ milk left by the milk man there. they have cancelled their milk though so why the decided to leav3 a freebie is beyond me…not to say stupid.
Sewn up pink cardi just needs buttons now

Natty.. I love the house.. it's very cute.. and a lovely sunny garden!! I may invite myself for a visit
I am itchy.. my left leg is swollen almost up to my knee from my heel.. it is so uncomfortable. I hate life today.
There is a little white cat about a year old who we are trying to capture.. he has been lurking for a few months, clearly a stray.. he is called Mr Spook (Like Mr Spock... because we are nerds!) and he is white.. all white.. to match my 4 black ones lol. He needs snippy-snippy but I am more than happy to get that done. I may need to borrow a trap. There ia a big fluffy meanie with space hoppers also needs snipping but he is wild so may need aa trap, snip and release. before every cat this side of Durham is spawning his kittens.
I hate summer. I am so fed up of having bites and being itchy and in pain

Lovely house, Natty. Fingers crossed for a quick move x
Up at work time today, as it is twot. And today is supposed to be twotter than yesterday. At the moment there is a bit of a breeze out, so I might make an early start to the allotment if I can find my guag. My only planned indoor flying is s&s the bathroom, although I really need to investigate why the fridge is crammed to the gunnels. I think it may be to do with DH piling bottles of beer in there…7 -
Morning xx
I totally expected to melt overnight. But here I am: I'm not a soggy wet patch on the bed, I'm still a hooman. Yayyy. A hot hooman but solid.
I'm up, made my bed and supped my first brew. I'm itching to take a box out of the Cupboard of Doom to explore the contents. But there's stuff and black bags on top of the first box, and I don't want to be buried in an avalanche! So I'll work my way down. One item at a time. 🐢.
Well done to Valli"s DD on getting the job. 👏
Ooo exciting times for Natty too 😊
Love to you all ❤
I need another brew before I do anything else. Join me?

WM is swishing towels, tea towels and pillow case.
I've fed the birds and put out the rubbish (to stop mackerel tin stinking out the kitchen) and recycling.
And removed a dead sparrow from the front lawn and deposited it on the border to allow nature to take its course. Not thinking avian flu as there's evidence that something bit it 😥
Already twot for Rounds out there. I'm thinking I'm going to have to resort to using a fan....very aware of leccy usage though. 🤔
