Morning all. It's quiet today.
Congratulations to the Valligirl x
My body is still recovering from 2.5min on the rowing machine yesterdayThis morning I have hung out a sheet and some other bits of washing which I had to re-wash yesterday evening because of a dirty pigeon
I have watered all the patio and mini-gh pots, made my bed, S&S'd the kitchen and bathroom, and PUPA in the LR and DR. I have also just unclogged my shredder, which has left bits all over the study-bedroom carpet, so when I went downstairs a few minutes ago to make a cuppa, I brought back the cordless thingy and will hoover both bedroom floors and the landing.
I have spent a pleasant morning making more cards - cool side of the house, window wide open, podcast on, Rosie behind my chair - and made good progress with decluttering and sorting A4 card, paper and other crafting supplies. Two empty plastic boxes are destined (eventually) for DS2, and two empty strong cardboard ones are set aside for sorting my family history stuff. Yes, that is still on my Toots list!
This afternoon I am going to a friend's house for a cuppaand of course Rosie will need a walk at some point. Thunderstorms and showers are forecast from midday and continuing for much of the afternoon, but hopefully there will be a dry window of opportunity around 5pm. It's due to be cooler tomorrow, which will be good for me as I need to bake a birthday cake for K, as well as the rhubarb crumble.
Will catch up later xxx7 -

This week is a disaster, I have not felt right all week and have been so tired and headachey. I have been doing the day job coming home, sleeping, getting up to cook dinner, clearing away and kitchen cleaning then going to bed. Not sleeping through and then starting again, on a week that I have started my healthier eating, perhaps it's kicking a restart for my hormones but I have not had any energy to read thread let alone fly. I know other people have real health issues to deal with so I am kicking myself to bl00dy well get on with stuff and stop shirking.
Well done Valli's DD, Sorry to hear OH's been signed off unwell, hope your sales help minimise the impact. Love and hugs to everyone else
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!7 -
That doesn't sound like shirking, it sounds like giving your body a chance to feel better. Don't be too hard on yourself. The housework will still be there next week! All the best

Girls flicked out to school, bought OH's birthday presents, cuppa slurped, dealt with oozy bite and got dressed... that might be me done for the day!
My Pa came to look at the problem with the car.. the slave cylinder in the gearbox of ferdoofled ... that may be every penny I have saved being spent seeing as he has maxed his credit card on plants.. Anyone got a rich uncle I can marry and kill off ?? lol

Sorry to hear about your car troubles on top of everything else, pigpen x
kazmeister, I'm sure I'm not the only Flylady who takes a week off occasionally! Pollybear is giving sensible advice. Listen to your body and give yourself a rest if you need it x
I have got backache from sitting hunched up over my desk for too long this week, but I'm now on the final lap of card-making: 126 down, just 21 to finish off! That's two more craft stashes cleared, and two more empty boxes
Slurping the last of my elevenses coffee. I'm already made my pack-up, so will be off to cardio rehab shortly (hopefully it will also do my back good), then I need to do a food shop on the way home, and cook some of it while I'm baking this afternoon. DH is off to war games this evening so I shall finish the cards then.
Fascinating WDYTYA yesterday evening, with Strictly's Kevin from Grimsby morphing into Kevin from Canada! I missed the bit before the opening titles and another chunk later when an old colleague rang for a quick catch-up, so I will definitely have to watch it all again on iPlayer
See you later xxx
