stop trying for a while as the more you try the more your finger will swell..
or hold your hand up in the air for while to get as much fluid drained out as possible
or try the ice thing, or put your hand in a bol of cold water for a while
or try KY jelly, butter, oil, handcream (?)

how are they stuck together?? did they melt or something or are they just linked together somehow.. i cant picture it?

Thanks everyone. I've put some water in the freezer to freeze. The mood ring is at an angle to my wedding ring. It's obscuring the back of my wedding ring but you can still see most of the front.

    hi guys,

I have had my wedding ring on for one day and as it was very warm (staying in San Fran atm) i took it off as was sweating around my finger.

Then put it back on the wrong finger (was very tired duh!) and now wont come off at all.

I know as its very warm my fingers have swollen a little, but we have tried windex (glass cleaner) and soap, creams, ice etc

Any other tips before by wife kills me :rotfl:
  • I recommend oil

  • Try soaking your hand in cold water, as you would for a burn. It should allow your hand to cool a little.

Failing that, you'll need oil of some kind, or a present for your wife!!

I was going to suggest cold water too, perhaps even iced water and some soap.
  • Try holding your hand above your head for a protracted period to reduce the amount of blood flow. Possibly while holding a frozen gel pack or bag of ice.
  • Cold water and liquid soap or washing up liquid, but I'd wait a few hours for the swelling to go down. When I've had problems with mine (have to remove it for work ) I've found my finger is less swollen in a morning.

ask your missus if you can borrow her lip gloss! then put it around your finger just under the wedding ring and sort of work it under. the suggestion to cool your hand first is a good one as when your hand is really cold you could be almost a ring size smaller.
then work the ring down a bit and it should ease off! I did this a couple of years back with a child who had her finger trapped in a seat belt thingy on a coach trip! the gloss was so slick the finger slid out quite easily when even vaseline didnt work!
  • Liquid soap! LOTS of it! Worked for me a few months ago. Hope this helps!
