I have sent an email to Contestor Legal.

Nothing happened re. the previous court error. I did not receive costs and it would seem the claims were not consolidated. However that was a different claim.

The set aside judge for the other claim literally documented on the Order every claim number with the intention of consolidating them.

    The order says:

“Upon receipt of all the above claims the matters shall be referred to a DJ for directions to consider consolidation and/or listing of the cases at the same.”

    Yet it never happened.

I was also promised costs in court at the same set aside hearing, and I provided my bank details to the Claimant - but the written order does not reflect what the judge ordered.

My set aside judge clearly accepted my position on service, but the recent  judge ignored the pattern of defective service and still awarded interest from the claim date (which surely is legally wrong if service was defective).

I have heard back from CL who think I have good grounds for appeal and are willing to take on the case. Just wondering if I'm better just to pay DCBLegal, however with there being more claims to follow will this open up the flood gates for all the others? I have some thinking to do. Either way it's a lot of money to lose - just before Christmas too 😥

I'd use CL. They won a case at the Court of Appeal (second highest court in the land).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
