Is this a WS to accompany a N244 CCJ set aside application? If yes, then it should be FAR more detailed with case law about the wrong address being used.

This is explained in the CCJ set aside section of the second post of the NEWBIES thread, where I advise people to copy & adapt the WS by Zbubuman.

Or are you successfully past CCJ set aside stage and are on the next stage of defending the claim before a second hearing?

Actually, from briefly hopping back and reading your first post from over a year ago, this is your Mum's WS to write from her POV.  She is at all times the Defendant, not you.

Have written it accordingly, and have emailed my revised WS. My last question. Do I also include the Defense statement that I sent to the Northampton County Court Business centre last year or will the judge already have that? 
I have untill 5pm to send if needed.

There is no CCJ, the letter is incorrect but I've used it as evidence.

Yes. I have written the WS as if it was my Mum writing it.

I have now received a statement of costs from their solicitors. It is about £50 more than what they are after.
1. Should I also do one and how much? I am having to book a day off work A/L for the case on Tuesday.
2. They have spelt my Mum's name wrong on it. Does that invalidate it?

She can claim her costs but not yours.

Despite their recent letter, they can't get more solicitors costs than the capped £50 legal fees that's already on the claim form. Not unless Mum acts 'wholly unreasonably' such as not showing up to the hearing.

I assume you are being a lay rep to attend with her, to speak for her. If it's an in-person hearing, make sure you take a copy of the Lay Representatives (Rights of Audience) Order 1999 to prove her right to use a lay rep to speak. She must attend with you.
